SustainCERT approved as Cercarbono VVB

We are happy to announce that SustainCERT has been approved as a Validation and Verification Body by Cercarbono following a thorough review process by the Colombian-based standard. We’re excited to add Cercarbono to our verification services for carbon, as we continue to expand our offering as a VVB in carbon markets.

SustainCERT will provide validation and verification services for Cercarbono projects under the following scopes:

• Energy Sector
• Transportation Sector
• Construction Sector

Successful validation and verification will allow project developers to issue carbon credits under Cercarbono.

Cercarbono was first established in 2016 with the mission "To promote and support the development of initiatives in different economic sectors to mitigate climate change and strengthen the dynamics of the carbon market.” They initially began with a focus only on Latin America, but have since expanded to operate globally.
